“Loved the bed. Not too soft or hard. Comfy comforter. Breakfast yummy. Upstairs unit remember to bring just the carry on”

I absolutely adored the 1900s vibe and look, and the antique fixtures and furniture added to the charm. The shower was great, and the bed was even better. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, though a few more creamers would have been nice. Nothing else to complain about.

It’s a historic building with antique furnishings and free parking. We didn’t see any staff members, and breakfast was left in the room the previous evening in sealed packages of fruit, vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, etc.

“Et fantastisk hus med mye historie innen veggene.”

A beautiful historic spot, incredibly exciting! The only downside is that it’s noisy in the hallways and between the doors.

“Historic pearl in Ålesund”

The place has so much character, just off the main road into Ålesund and right across from NTNU, with plenty of history and design details. The room was very comfortable and the continental breakfast came in a fridge. No issues overall, just a note that parking is a bit tight at the front door; free parking is available between 1600‑0800 and for two hours after that.
