The garden is gorgeous, the cottage is super cozy, and the shower was amazing—couldn't get enough of it! The spot is super convenient, so I’d definitely suggest it to anyone.

Irene and Murray are wonderful hosts who go the extra mile to make guests feel at home. Weaver Cottages lie in a quiet Harare suburb, and we stayed in the charming “book room,” where walls boast built‑in brick bookcases and a fascinating library. The room includes a small self‑catering kitchen and a self‑serve breakfast. The only shower is outside in a small courtyard, which adds character. When Harare had a power cut, they supplied a backup generator for showers and an inverter to keep essentials running. Supermarkets and restaurants are about 10 minutes away. We had a car, which is only recommended if you’re comfortable driving in chaotic traffic; the local road rules take a bit to get used to. There’s an app called inDrive (similar to Uber) and Irene and Murray can suggest other services.
