The building itself was stunning, and the whole setting was breathtaking—a quiet, secluded spot that feels connected to nature. Having a kitchen is a bonus, especially for those who like to cook. The rooms lacked AC, but that wasn’t the main issue since the mountain weather was cool and comfortable. However, there were no windows to open, so we woke up daily with headaches from stale air. It’s also a bit far from everything, even if you’re on a motorbike.

The location is unique, tucked in the mountains at the foot of a volcano on an island famous for its beaches. The owner hosted a private party while guests were staying on the property, so I couldn’t sleep because of loud music, talking, and laughter. I had to go downstairs at 10 am to get his attention. Worse, he broke the house rules about noise. I booked a room with a private toilet and bath, but ended up in a third‑floor attic with the toilet and bath on the first floor. 🤬🤬🤬

The daytime view was nice. The cleanliness, unsanitary conditions, animals, and facilities were poor.

The house and landscape are nice. First, there are no locks on the doors, so anyone can enter and exit unnoticed, which made us feel very uneasy—no security. Second, there is no bidet and no hot shower. Third, the location is serene and peaceful, but we never encountered any staff during our entire stay. Fourth, transportation to and from the accommodation is expensive: you can rent and drive your own motorcycle, take a Habal habal, or use a Multicab special ride, all costing a hefty amount.

It was peaceful, surrounded by greenery. The house we stayed in was not that clean.
