The guesthouse is charming in the old town of Dali, tucked into a quiet alley; Didi can drop you off nearby, the room is spacious, and the staff gave us useful tips for exploring the city, though the cleanliness could use improvement and the place needs better upkeep.

“Amazing host, nice rooms and a great stay!”

The host was super friendly and helped us out at every turn, and the rooms were clean and comfy. We loved wandering the old town—it’s full of character—and the host pointed us toward some great restaurants and activities, like the tea‑making workshop we ended up doing. The only snag was getting a taxi; the summer traffic made it a bit of a hunt.

This place sits on a quiet street and the staff are really pleasant, always ready to answer questions and they speak English too. Within a five‑minute walk you’ve got two solid spots to eat—Carnivore for a proper meal and a pizza joint right next door. Nothing negative to mention.

A solid spot with a huge selection of items, fresh juices on tap and coffee that actually tastes good. Everything feels fresh and there’s plenty to choose from.
