“PODVODNÍCI!!!”
The receptionist demanded we cancel and only accept cash, refusing any card payment, so I handed over euros on the condition that no card charge would be made, yet she gave me no receipt. When I asked about the beach distance she said 15 minutes on foot, while the booking site claimed the hotel was on the beach; in reality it was about 1.5 km away. We were put in rooms 602‑603, which were still dirty at 4 pm and we had to wait another half‑hour for housekeeping. In room 603 the toilet board was taped up with sticky tape to keep it from falling, the TV didn’t work, there was a hole in the wall, a bare bulb where a lamp should be, and no shower gel – truly a one‑star property for the price. Breakfast the next morning was a shock: only bread, butter, boiled eggs, cream, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese and the cheapest salami, which made me feel like I was back in the communist era rather than the 21st century. The kitchen staff explained that they couldn’t do better because the manager hadn’t supplied anything, so they served whatever they could find. The photos they advertise show a lavish breakfast, which is completely false. I complained to the receptionist on departure, but she stayed silent and wouldn’t answer. When I asked for the manager, she said he wasn’t there and didn’t know when he would return. It felt like a scam targeting both the booking platform and tourists, and I think the platform should terminate its contract with this hotel and impose heavy penalties.
