Ferme des capucines

“Heel aangenaam verblijf.”

It took a while to find the B&B because it isn’t marked as “Ferme des Capucines” and the house number was missing. The friendly ladies, comfortable bed, clean rooms, and tasty breakfast were good, and the kickertafel was nice for relaxing. The area is great for walking and cycling with good junctions. The only issue was the lack of a proper sign for the B&B.

“Een ideale tussenstop voor mijn roadtrip in Le Nord”

Nice hosts, booked last minute and everything was perfect. I also got a golden tip for a wonderful dinner at a nearby estaminet. The only thing to note is that there isn’t a shower curtain if that’s something you prefer.

The fact that the cottage is reserved exclusively for families is a plus, and the rooms come with private bathrooms. The only drawback was at breakfast: we were hoping for eggs—since the hens are pecking under our windows—but there were no eggs served, which was disappointing. We’re used to fresh bread, and it seemed a bit “soft.”
