The location was exactly where I needed to be, the place was quiet, private, and the beds were comfortable with fresh, fragrant linen; I had the entire house to myself with no other guests, and the rooms were spacious with impressive bathrooms that just needed a little TLC. It could look stunning in its prime, but it needs a solid investment and upkeep; only one power outlet worked, and since I was the sole guest for four nights, the staff finished at 5 pm, which could pose a serious safety risk if an incident occurred.

“molto piacevole”

The staff were very kind, everything was spotless, free water was provided daily along with cleaning, the pool was nice and the location was excellent, though the street was quiet. The road to get there was very rough because of construction.

“Don’t stay here at all. Can’t trust management as theft accrued.”

There wasn’t much to say; on the first night everything was stolen from the room and no help was offered when I reported it. The theft and the deceptive service were unacceptable.

Arriving at 6 pm, the office looked abandoned and smelled like a dead rat; there was no reception, no staff, and the phone number listed on the website and on the window never answered. The street was unlit, making nighttime walking risky, but a local resident helped me out. Eventually the owner showed up, and after some confusion I paid in cash. A young woman was there, saying her experience had been a nightmare. The pool was covered in green moss, so I avoided it. The cupboards were worn and crooked, the shower floor tiles were slippery and dirty, and the shower glass was opaque and grimy. Everything felt grubby—hand marks on walls, cupboards, door frames, switches, and damp towels with a bad smell. The outside pathways were uneven, and the place overall felt run down. Arriving after hours was hopeless; I would never return.

On the penultimate day I developed an ear infection, usually caused by bacteria in the water, and it wasn’t surprising when on the day of departure we saw an employee rinse a mop in the pool overflow.
