We need to pay for 3 hours of storage for 2 suitcases after we checked out that day

I really liked the room—it was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The pool water was cold, even though it was advertised as heated.

We stayed five nights as a family and overall the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The spot was handy, just a 10‑minute walk to the subway, and the valet parking worked fine since we left our car there the whole time. I especially liked a female night‑shift staff member who was always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we needed something. The downside was how the bathroom sink problem was handled. We reported the sink wasn’t draining the morning after our late‑night check‑in and asked for a room change. A male staff member said it was “impossible” before maintenance even looked at it. We were already late for the day and didn’t want anyone entering while we were away, so we waited for maintenance. During the repair, dirty water and debris splashed onto our belongings, the mirror, and the wall. Housekeeping cleaned the area afterward, but we still had to clean our own stuff. There was no real apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and the sink issue was relatively minor. What disappointed me more was the inflexible and unsympathetic handling of the situation; a little more understanding, professionalism, and customer care would have made a big difference.
