The spot was spot on for walking the Cotswolds Way, with Wotton-under-Edge close by and plenty of eateries and shops, plus an open‑air pool. I’d stayed at Canons Court Mews a couple of years ago, and since then it feels a bit tired and in need of TLC; we had a few minor snags that were fixed quickly, but overall it wasn’t great.

Great location, very clean and comfortable—nothing to complain about.

Basic but tidy, with clean linens and a decent kitchen; check‑in was easy and the host was responsive. However, the place is a long way from the Cotswolds Way path, the sofa cushions were dirty, the chairs were grubby, the bedroom lamp was broken, and the towels were threadbare.

Our Christmas break was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the perfect accommodation and location. The cottage had everything we needed, and the housekeeping staff did an outstanding job, keeping the place exceptionally clean and comfortable. I was also impressed with the communication with Adrian, who was helpful throughout our stay. We're already looking forward to spending next Christmas at Cantons Mews.
