Castlereagh Lodge Motel

“We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, but we loved it so much that we extended it to 5 nights.”

The price was great for what you get, the spot was ideal, the unit was spotless and cozy with super comfy beds, the air conditioning worked wonders on hot days, and the team was incredibly helpful.

The staff were very accommodating, but everything else fell short.

“It was fine but I wouldn't go back.”

The cottage is very basic. The walls are thin and trucks on the main road just outside make it loud, and when it’s windy the house turns into a loud wind‑tunnel. The table outside felt like it might fall over, but the back patio was a lovely spot to sit in the sun and you couldn’t hear the road. The beds are comfy enough and I slept fine otherwise. The main bathroom shower head is a bit broken and leaks, but it still gets the job done.

I spent two nights there and slept perfectly each night; the bed and pillows were comfy, the shower was in great shape, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was happy to stay, and the place is within walking distance of a supermarket and a bowling club where I could grab dinner.

“Good but not quite great”

The hotel was close to the event we attended, but there was no breakfast offered.
