Hampton Inn Dubuque

The room was great and everything matched my expectations, but the pool area was too dark and water was everywhere, so I wouldn't recommend it. The spa was also not mentioned. Breakfast was awful, from the coffee to the food quality, and you could only use disposable tableware for drinks and food.

“We did not get the room we booked and we over payed for a subpar hotel”

I booked a king room but was not given one at check‑in and was told nothing could be done about it. The room I received was not what I booked and was severely overpriced.

“Would NOT stay here again”

Nothing special. The property needs work; our room showed a lot of wear, the floor was very slanted, and the ceiling had leak signs that need more repair. The parking wasn’t great, the hotel smelled of sewage and was almost unbearable—we didn’t even stay for breakfast. Just gross.

The breakfast was amazing, and the staff are extremely courteous and friendly. The beds could use a bit more comfort, especially the pillows.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place was clean and comfortable. No complaints.
