Located in front of Hakata Canal City, Dormy Inn Premium Hakata Canal City Mae offers modern rooms with free WiFi, flat-screen satellite TVs, and amenities like fridges, electric kettles, and green tea. Guests can unwind in public hot-spring baths, sauna rooms, and coin-launderette. A 10-minute walk from JR Hakata Train Station, it's a 10-minute drive from Ohori Park and Fukuoka Castle, with Fukuoka Airport a 15-minute drive away.

The location was perfect; walking to Hakata Station takes only a few minutes, and the subway station is right in front of us. Canal City is just behind. The large bath was clean and nice. However, there was no shower in the room, so I had to go to the bath to shower.

The subway station sits right in front of the hotel, so getting around is a breeze, and there are plenty of restaurants close by.

Onsen and location are great, but the prices are high.

We’ve stayed here before, and it’s in a convenient spot on Canal City near Hakata Station; the subway station is just outside the hotel. Parking is quite handy, though you need staff to pull the car out when you return. Breakfast and dinner are excellent as always. The public bath offers complimentary ice lollies and yogurt drinks, and the staff on the front desk speak good English. The rooms aren’t as spacious as some resorts, but they’re reasonably priced.

The room, hot spring, meals, location, and cleanliness were all good. The new bus line is a bit inconvenient, but because the hotel is right in front of the subway, walking is actually more convenient than taking the bus, so it didn’t pose a problem.
