“nice place, comfortable beds, quiet, but breakfast not included and a bit out of town.”

The hostess was very responsive and nice; the room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the shower was okay. However, there was no heat I could turn on and it was cold—though I didn’t mind it for sleeping, it was a bit chilly when I was out. I also felt that for the price of the room breakfast should have been included, but it wasn’t; I’ve stayed in cheaper places that offered a fully cooked breakfast.

“Home away from home”

Stacey was the highlight of the Castaway Guesthouse, responding to every request and making us feel at home; we loved the stay, appreciated the solar panels and the outdoor laundry drying, and the sheets and towels smelled fresh.
