The price was just great, exactly what was promised.
The place has a nice vibe, but I found black mold in the shower of room 201, and despite several requests, I still haven’t received an invoice.
The evening meals at the restaurant were very good, the historic building looks appealing, parking is convenient, and even though it’s on a main street, it’s quiet at night. It’s a good base for day trips, and the welcome and service when we arrived were very friendly. Unfortunately, we never got guest cards even after asking at check‑in, and the staff couldn’t give us accurate information. Because of this, we paid extra for activities like visiting the Kitzloch Gorge and riding the Hochalmbahn to the Greifvogelhütte. Only when buying tickets for the Hochalmbahn did the ticket seller tell us we could have ridden for free with our guest card. After calling again, we finally received the cards, but it was too late—those activities would have been free. It was very frustrating, annoying, and costly, and there was no apology or explanation from the hotel, which felt very alienating.
