The owners and their staff are very friendly and accommodate every request. Nothing was missing in general. Some things feel a bit dated, but nothing that overwhelms. Air conditioning and fans are available. The accommodation is about 18 km off the last paved road, which causes complications if the visit happens during rain. If you can, rent a real 4‑Runner; otherwise don’t book there. The rooms should be updated in every respect.

The private ranch was huge, full of birds and wildlife, but the room was very basic yet fully functional, and there were a lot of mosquitoes.

The food was excellent, breakfast was very good, the welcome was very warm, and connecting with the estancia folks was easy, but it wasn’t very hot and we felt cold at night.

We loved the ranch so much we extended our stay; the wildlife, the freedom, and the people—owner Marylyn, volunteers like Kirsten, chef Jérôme, and the occasional parrot Bieber and Clara—made it unforgettable; the rustic ranch had spotless rooms and bathrooms, even the bedding was clean for a comfy night’s sleep; all the food was farm‑to‑fork with no waste and we even boiled rainwater for tea; the family‑run ethos was admirable, and the hardworking farmers welcomed us to share their lifestyle; if you want a real taste of the Chaco, book today—you won’t regret it; the tours were good, maybe a bit pricey but worth every penny for a knowledgeable local guide; we learned a lot, saw many animals, relaxed by the pool, and enjoyed the thunderstorms, monkeys, sunsets, and sunrises; I could keep talking and I’m almost crying as I write this because I didn’t want to leave.
