It felt like the room of an old aunt who had died the previous year. I was almost sure the sheets hadn’t been washed, so I slept in my own clothes. The bathroom mat was dirty because it hadn’t been changed. In short, it was a nightmare room for me.

Very close to the cathedral, the harbor, and many venues where you can indulge in fantastic Sicilian cuisine, not to mention the pastry shops. A strategically located property where everything is within a few minutes.

The room was clean when I arrived and had everything I needed. Giuseppe was helpful with local spots and understood my situation. However, there wasn’t enough soap in the bathroom, and the presence of an owner and another person who gave me a terrible experience was very frightening. Even though Giuseppe said that person was just on holiday, it still worried me because I didn’t know how it was accepted. There weren’t enough coffee capsules when I needed them. Despite a no‑smoking sign on the door, a strong smoking odor inside was very disappointing.
