Nothing good to highlight. The room promised in the listing was a huge let‑down. The photos and listed square footage were completely deceptive, giving the impression of a far larger, more comfortable space, yet the actual room measured only about 50–55 square feet and felt absurdly cramped—so cramped that even a grave would seem spacious. It was totally unsuitable for a comfortable stay. I reached out to the host about the discrepancy but received no reply, and even by the next morning I was still waiting. Being given a room that falls short of what was advertised is bad enough; being ignored after raising a complaint makes it even worse. Guests deserve accurate photos, honest dimensions, and a response when they voice concerns. Based on this experience, I strongly advise against booking New Fortunate Guest House A1.

The place was chaotic and felt like a scam, but it had an authentic Asian vibe that I liked; it’s not for westerners who expect luxury. I might return unless I’m craving something beautiful and cozy. The location was great, and the forex offices downstairs offered the best rates. I paid what I paid for and couldn’t complain further. The room was tiny, with a very small toilet and shower, and it wasn’t very clean. The staff weren’t very friendly and the whole place felt a bit shady. My wife wanted an affordable one‑night stop between flights and didn’t want to search options, so I booked the cheapest in the area we wanted to explore; she wasn’t too happy, but maybe next time she’ll tell me to book something nicer, haha.
