Staybridge Suites Brighton by IHG

The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, with a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable, the place quiet, and there was a washing machine in the hotel that we didn’t use but appreciated. Breakfast was decent—though I’m not a fan of English breakfast, it was okay here. The location is good: only a 5‑minute walk from the train station and very close to the city centre.

“Worth the money”

The location was excellent, the room facilities were spot‑on, the bed was super comfy, and the room stayed quiet. The staff were faultless, and with breakfast included it was a lovely place to stay. The fixtures are a little tired.

“Excellent”

The studio apartment was very comfortable, clean, and tidy—perfect for a few days in the city. I stayed in room 115, which was neatly tucked in the corner on the first floor. Nothing was wrong; everything was fine!

Right next to the train station, so perfect when heading to Brighton. Nothing else to note.

“Not Coeliac safe”

Despite checking in advance, there was nothing Coeliac‑safe for me to eat at breakfast. I risked a plate of scrambled eggs next to gluten items, and there was no separate area for gluten‑free food like in other hotels I’ve stayed at. I was very disappointed, especially since I’d checked before booking. I emailed the hotel afterward but received no response at all. Provide safe options or be honest so Coeliacs stay elsewhere.
