It’s close to the metro, which made trips to Kyoto and Nara easy, and the supermarkets nearby gave me peace of mind. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep.

The place is spacious and close to a station, making it great for long stays but not ideal for a vacation. The only entrance is a steep, typical Japanese staircase, and there are no elevators, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re carrying heavy luggage. Even though it’s near a station, the area is far from any major Osaka attractions, with transfers taking at least 30 minutes and involving changes. Upon arrival, the building smelled like storage, and there’s no sound insulation, so you have to be very quiet at night. The laundry machine is only available during the day, which complicates things if you’re out all day sightseeing.

The neighborhood, room, and beds were all great. The only issue was the stairs, which are tough to navigate with large suitcases.

The host was friendly, the amenities were comprehensive, and the environment was tidy. A supermarket is downstairs, though it closes early; a 7‑eleven a bit further away stays open, so no worries. The subway is a five‑minute walk, which is handy. The bathroom layout is a bit small, but it doesn’t affect showering. The stairs are steep, so walk carefully, and if a neighbor is staying, the sound insulation isn’t perfect.
