Elgin Guest House sits on the Whisky Trail along the A96, just two minutes from Elgin town centre’s shops and restaurants. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, limited private parking, and easy access to fishing, golf, cycling, walking and whisky tasting. The historic cathedral and Elgin Football Club are a ten‑minute walk away, while Glen Moray distillery lies 1.3 miles distant.

There was no breakfast. Parking on the premises was a big bonus. Overall, the stay was satisfactory. The lack of breakfast and the uncomfortable chairs in the room were drawbacks.

10 out of 10 Excellent location literally 2 mins walk from the town centre, friendly helpful staff, clean, tidy, no issues whatsoever, will be there again, ask about the kailey bar Thursday nights. Nuffin !!

The location was ideal for our needs. John, the owner, is a lovely chap, very helpful, and easy to deal with. The only downside was the small bathroom, which lacked a shelf area for my wife.

No breakfast was offered, but the spot is great for exploring the charming Elgin town centre. The room was straightforward and very comfortable, though the hot tap in the basin stopped working.
