The villa’s location was great and very accessible with beautiful views, but when we arrived the kitchen wasn’t clean—utensils still had food, several power points were extremely dirty, cigarette butts littered both balconies, the toilet water started overflowing, there was no toilet seat, the bedsheets were unclean, the bathroom was filthy, and an unpleasant smell lingered throughout the house. The Booking listing incorrectly advertised a washing machine in the kitchen and an additional shower that were not present. The property was overpriced and did not meet the standards listed. After the host responded, I clarified that we did pay the required amount in cash as requested, and I have witnesses who can confirm the full payment; if it had not been paid, we would not have been allowed to stay. Their messages after checkout contradicted their earlier claim, telling us to leave the keys at the property, which would have been unreasonable if any payment was still due. The issues I noted in my review accurately reflect the property’s condition during our stay, and the threats of legal action to remove my review are unprofessional. My review honestly describes the experience we had.
