The staff were really helpful, especially after we found fleas in our first room and they moved us to a clean one. Still, the original room had fleas.

“Nice but tiring for us.”

The water pressure was solid and the bed and pillow were comfy, but we asked for a handicap room on the first floor and it wasn’t available. The next handicap room was on the second floor, six doors down from the end of the hallway, not counting the 25 feet from the elevator, and it sat smack in the middle of a long hallway. The only differences from a regular room were grip bars in the bathroom and a slightly wider space for a wheelchair. A handicap person should be considered not just for restroom use but also for how far they have to walk to reach the elevator. Walking about 100 feet from the elevator to your room isn’t doable if you have heart problems, bad knees, or asthma, or if you’re a senior. We had to carry our luggage the whole way because an employee was using the luggage carts for a delivery; the employee could have helped us before taking both carts for packages or made two trips and left one cart for paying guests.

The location was fine, but the breakfast was disappointing.
