The price was cheap. Unfortunately, the bedding and towels had blood stains, there was no hot water—only cold showers—and no heating. The mattress was as hard as a rock, the bathroom had no ventilation (the window wouldn’t open and the extractor fan was broken), and the Wi‑Fi was out of range from our room.

The room was clean with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom had been refurbished and looked very nice. The tea‑making facilities lacked milk and there was nowhere to store it after we bought some. No Wi‑Fi code was shared before arrival, so I had to get it once I reached the signal area outside the hotel; it would have been better to ask for it beforehand. This isn’t usually a problem, but it was necessary to keep in touch with the rest of our group.

The place had no breakfast, but the location was fine. The shower on our first night might have been a bit off.

The owner communicated well, the spot was great, and the room was nice. Parking was a hassle, but that was just luck.

The location worked. There was no staff, the room was very basic and needed modernising. The walls were thin, and when other guests arrived the noise was ridiculous.
