“Hotel stay for show at playhouse”

I chose this hotel because it was close to the Edinburgh Playhouse. The breakfast was disappointing: the hot dishes were cold, and nobody wanted cold scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.

“A peaceful and comfortable stay in an excellent location, with delicious food.”

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient spot, just a short walk from St James Quarter, shops, and restaurants. I was pleased to receive a quiet ground‑floor room overlooking the hillside, as I had requested, and the staff helped with my luggage. I also loved dinner at the hotel restaurant, especially the Cullen Skink soup and the fish and chips. The room was a bit small, and I was surprised there was no mini‑fridge; having one would have made my stay more convenient.

“Great location, rooms were a good size, chromecast didn’t work, breakfast was good”

The location was great. The Chromecast didn’t work, and although we were offered free breakfast as compensation—which was fine—I still wished the Chromecast had worked.
