Midgard Base Camp

“Great location to see the highlands and northern lights!”

We stayed in a private room that was small but very cozy. The staff were incredibly helpful and warm. The spot was great, especially with a nice restaurant nearby. We caught the northern lights from the rooftop spa! We also booked a highlands jeep tour through them to see the rainbow mountains, and that was the highlight of our week in Iceland. I highly recommend both the hotel and the jeep trip.

“Best stay!”

The base camp had a fantastic vibe, everyone was welcoming and the dogs added a cozy feel. The facilities were clean and the beds and rooms were comfortable. Nothing to criticize.

The first night we spent in Iceland was wonderful. There is a sauna and jacuzzi option. We dined at the restaurant and everything was delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious. Nothing to add.

“Posizione comoda”

The roof has a pool and sauna, the bathrooms are spacious and clean, and there are showers that are large enough to dry shoes and clothes. The pub and restaurant are on the floor below, and there’s a kitchenette (though it lacks electric plates, only three microwaves are available for heating). The rooms are very basic, missing bedside tables, a small table, and a wardrobe, and they feel impersonal.
