“4 étoiles, pour une nuitée « insolite » en bulle ? Fuyez !”
The only thing that impressed me was the setting: the outdoors and the pool. I paid four stars for a bizarre overnight stay in a bubble, and it turned out to be a disaster. The bubbles, tents, tipis, and caravans are all set up in a field, right next to each other, with no real privacy. The worst part of the bubbles, whose appeal lies in their “transparency,” is that you can easily see inside neighboring bubbles because of the close proximity, and this proximity only makes it hard to avoid nearby noise. We were given a first bubble that shouldn’t have been offered to guests at all: it was visible from the outside, the terrace rail was broken with exposed nails and screws, wires and electrical cables were visible, the furniture was rusty and unclean, and the fridge was foul with mold. After complaining, negotiating, and waiting for almost an hour, we accepted a second bubble that was just as passable: the zipper on the door was broken, so we couldn’t close the bubble, the fence was broken, the ashtray from previous occupants was not emptied or cleaned, and the bubble was at the end of the line. On top of that, the bathrooms were shared, and the tranquility was clearly disturbed by the events (even though we were warned after booking). It’s clearly an add‑on accommodation that could be offered for events (weddings, birthday parties) but definitely not as an unusual lodging for €200 a night, without breakfast included. Speaking of breakfast, at €21 per person the choice and quality are simply limited and not representative of the expected level.
