The place sits close to Ubud market, which is great, but if you’re lugging big suitcases you’ll have to walk down a rough road to reach the market street first, which isn’t very friendly.

The value for money is fantastic, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy, and it’s right in the centre surrounded by shops and eateries. The staff are very friendly and try to help you with everything, though it’s tucked into a slightly dark alley that’s a bit hard to spot—otherwise it’s good and we’d come back.

We didn’t like the location at all. The door gate was covered in dust and smelled bad, and the street was under construction with no signage and debris right at the entrance, making it hard to get in with our bags. The room they handed us was filthy, as if it’d been closed for months; the bathroom and room both had a strong bad odor, everything in the room was dusty, and the bed sheets were very dirty with large suspicious stains that might have been blood.

It’s a quiet spot at night, and you can get in through the market, which works fine if you’re on a scooter or carrying a backpack. The bed sheets, however, were rough.
