Penzion u Ivana

The accommodation was in a great spot, right between the wine cellars, and we really appreciated the helpfulness before arrival when they swapped our room to accommodate a change in the number of guests. However, some aspects differed from the description, such as the kitchen availability. Otherwise, we were satisfied with the location and the lodging.

I was pleasantly surprised by the stay: the beds were comfortable, and the room offered plenty of storage. On the floor above the room, there was a kettle and a fridge; on the ground floor, a kitchenette with dishes and a kettle. The pension also offered breakfast, and parking was available right at the property. The rooms were clean, tidy, fragrant, and the manager was very accommodating, kind, and cheerful.

The location was in a street with wine shops that were open all night, and we enjoyed the hospitality and warmth of the local vintners during tastings. The staff were very friendly, especially the manager who always helped and suggested great local events. Breakfast was tasty, and we liked sitting outside or enjoying wine from their cellar. Overall, we had a great stay, thanks largely to the friendliness of the locals.

The setting was quiet with a nice view, but the beds were uncomfortable.
