“Bellle escapade et repos dans un autre temps”

The place is steeped in history, the room is grand, and the silence is absolute thanks to the discreet caretakers. A fruit—just a few seasonal strawberries or a kiwi—would have rounded out breakfast, but that small omission doesn’t change how lovely our time there was.

“Enjoyed our stay but it could have been so much better.”

The bedroom is beautiful, the chateau itself is charming, but access is limited and the owners are very nice. The balcony is relaxing. Breakfast is the only meal offered; it would have been better if the dining room were available instead of having it in the bedroom. Lunch and dinner are not encouraged, and there are no nearby restaurants. The décor leans a bit “shabby chic.” A few tweaks could make it even better, but we still enjoyed our three‑day stay.

The spacious room is gorgeous with lovely details, and the jacuzzi on the terrace offers a view of a chapel perched atop the mountain. Breakfast is served in the room on a trolley. Bathrobes are provided. It was a unique experience. There is also a nice pool.

“remarquable . A faire”

The location and facilities are fantastic. The owners are attentive, available, and very kind. The adjacent chapel is wonderful to visit. The forest and river are adjacent.
