Le Clos du Roc, Maison d'hôtes

The on‑site restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is great. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The only drawback is the limited dining options if you plan to stay several nights. We’ll come back for a longer stay on our next trip to the Loire valley.

“The luxury, the quiet, the price… and their dog, was everything I needed.”

The house was beautiful, run by a lovely couple and their dog, Maya. It was very clean and the staff were attentive. The setting was quiet with plenty to do nearby. My room, The Duchess, had a lovely settee to curl up on for reading with a cup of tea. The food was also exceptional! This was the perfect, quiet getaway I had been looking for. I have nothing more to add.

A truly magnificent house and charming hosts. The room was beautiful, very comfortable and very clean. The bed was excellent, which is really appreciated. Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfect.
