“Waren leider nur eine Nacht da...aber wir wurden herzlichen Empfangen....”
I was met with extremely helpful and friendly staff, the rooms were spotless, and the bathroom was pleasantly spacious; the hotel feels cozy and tastes great overall.
The surroundings were nice, but the room was very Spartan, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the breakfast was very “cheap.”
“Wir kommen wieder.”
The value for money was solid and the breakfast was generous and tasty, but the steep stairs to the first‑floor room were a real hassle for anyone with mobility issues.
“Es war für die eine Nacht vollkommen in Ordnung.”
There were too few pillows… The public transport… we wanted to go to Schierke, but no bus runs there because of the terrible situation.

The hosts were nice, there were plenty of generous shared bathrooms, and at the restaurant you can find classic German dishes as well as Persian specialties (but only on pre‑order). The room is very small; the TV needs to be re‑programmed. It’s a bit more expensive than a comparable hotel in Bad Harzburg, but still okay.
