The towel rail was hanging off the wall, the door lock casing fell off when I closed it, and a strange noise came from the bathroom when the light switched on. The room was cold, so I had to wear a sweat top under my pyjamas and a hat, only after the heating kicked in overnight. There was cobweb on the ceiling light shade. They advertised tea bags, but there was plenty of sugar, some coffee, yet no tea or milk. As a single guest, I didn’t feel safe because of the location, so I would rethink booking here again.

The staff were very helpful, and the heater was eventually fixed after almost five hours. The big TV was present and the kitchen was available for self‑cooking. However, a washing‑machine issue caused water to flood and wipe the entire floor, including the room’s floor. The heater stopped working again, taking another five hours to repair. The bathroom bin was full, so we requested it be emptied. A young crowd stayed up late, running to the garden, disrupting sleep. The room looked a bit shabby. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it for families.
