The breakfast had coffee and juice that were okay, but the order was off – toast, jam, cereal, and the requested items didn’t match the menu. The room was on the upper floor, there was no luggage service, and the parking was only public; it was across from the lottery office, and only one spot was free.

Breakfast fresh quality ingredients. Freshly cooked. Bit short staffed at breakfast. Lovely setting and facilities, shame they closed bar last orders at 10.30

The old building was beautiful, and our room sat in a small private courtyard with a tiny garden. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, and I appreciated the limited selection of freshly cooked items instead of a huge buffet. The surrounding village was also very pretty. The restaurant offered a great menu, and we had two meals there, including a scrumptious Sunday roast.

This place is fabulous. Both breakfast and dinner had plenty of options and the food was delicious. We chose to eat there both nights because the meals were so good. The room was neat, tidy, clean, and spacious. I would definitely come back to this gorgeous village and pub.
