“Wish I Stayed Longer”
From the moment I arrived, hosts Makato and Naomi went above and beyond—picking me up from the train station and making me feel instantly welcome. The Japanese hot pot dinner they organized was memorable; the vegetables came straight from their own farm and everything tasted incredibly fresh. It felt like a gathering, and by the end of the evening everyone was chatting, sharing travel stories, and getting to know one another. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of cozy areas to relax, and a fully stocked kitchen for those who prefer to cook. I especially appreciated the hand‑drawn map they provided. Location-wise, it’s perfect: a peaceful place to stay, yet only a short train ride from Namba Station in Osaka or Nara, making it easy to explore the area while returning to a calm, welcoming home at the end of the day. My only regret is not staying longer. If you want a place that feels less like accommodation and more like being welcomed into someone’s home, this guesthouse is truly special.
