Gold Country Inn and Casino by Red Lion Hotels

The second TV in the room had an issue that was never resolved, and they adjusted the price.

“Very disappointed”

The shower didn’t work, the toilet flushed slowly, and the room wasn’t fresh. I didn’t realize until I was moved to another room for a shower, which was much nicer.

“So So”

The bar service on the second night was very good, but the first night wasn’t so great. The check‑in lady was a bit crude, and while the room was clean the sink had no stopper.

It’s a great place with comfortable rooms and excellent food.

“Great location, very clean, spacious rooms, extremely dog friendly.”

The room was a good size, the bathroom was huge—probably an ADA unit—near the pool, though I never used it. Staff were very friendly, and there was a grassy spot for my dog. The location was great. The shower head was wobbly and water leaked from the joints; it was a standard head plus a handheld. The check‑in desk was in the casino area, so it smelled smoky. A sign on the desk read “No Smoking” (🤣).
