Everything about this hotel was fantastic – the location was perfect, and the upscale area around Financial Street in Beijing was great to explore. There was nothing negative; everything was amazing.

“Muy bueno.”

The service was very good and the breakfast excellent. The main desk was a little chaotic and none of the staff spoke English or any language other than Chinese.

The hotel sits right in the centre, Didi and taxis are easy to get, there are shops nearby and the property offers a pool and similar facilities, and the bed was fantastic; the bathroom was spacious with both a tub and a shower. I did notice a lot of wear‑and‑tear: the wardrobe light stayed on through the night, the kettle only sometimes switched off by itself, the radio alarm clock was a 1990s relic, the bathroom blind acted up, there was no bath additive, the toilet was the very small European style with no shower, and overall I expected more for the price.
