InTown Suites Extended Stay Newport News VA - I-64

“Deleted are booking .com reservation that we had for over 4 months. So we had to pay for the regular room rate at check”

The area was fine, but this room was horrible. The tub was clogged, they only gave one towel, one washcloth, and a roll of toilet paper for the whole week, so you had to wash your towel. Spiders and other critters were crawling around, so it needed extermination.

“Down time”

I appreciated how the suite was furnished and its layout, but it could have used more towels.

The bed was comfy, the shower hot, and the room stayed very clean – that’s about all the positives. The photos on the website don’t match the room, and the little print says they’re staged. There were a ton of rules, even a note on the door telling us not to sit in lawn chairs in the parking lot because that’s loitering. When I asked housekeeping about swapping towels, they said I could wash them in the family laundry room if I needed clean ones. We’re older women, one of us recovering from surgery, and we know how to behave. It’s a no‑smoking place, yet the hallways, elevator, and parking lot all had a strong marijuana smell. I’d have left if I could have avoided paying what I already paid.
