The food was worth coming for – wonderful. The rooms, styled in Japanese fashion, were very clean. There was a family onsen that could be booked hourly at an extra charge. The only downside was that it was a bit remote.

The ryokan was perfect, unusually beautiful, very indulgent with comfortable beds, and the whole experience was stunning and unique – a must‑visit. The meals were very tasty and presented so aesthetically. Just note that not everyone is offered the regular traditional meal; you can request a vegetarian path in advance.

The staff were very courteous, helpful, and spoke English. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The onsen was great, and the food was absolutely delicious with many interesting traditional dishes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone new to staying at a ryokan.
