No breakfast was offered and that marks down the service. Breakfast was missing.

I wouldn’t give guests a room like this, not even for free. I would be absolutely mortified. Even though three slats broke out of the bed base on the very first night, I’m giving it three points because the toilet and bedding were genuinely clean and the location was decent. On the other hand, I wonder how such "accommodations" get approved in the first place. They’re making money for nothing

The place is well located, about 15–20 minutes on foot to the parliament, so you’re close to everything in Ottawa. We’re talking about a bed and breakfast, so you can’t expect the comfort of a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel. The bed was comfortable, hot water in the bathroom, and everything was clean. I liked it. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
