Sisanda Residence

We stayed 8 nights in a wonderful, attentive, caring home. The entire second floor—kitchen, living room, and bedroom with a bathroom—was ours. It was close to the ocean, on a clean street. I recommend this villa to everyone.

“Tranquilo y limpio”

It’s a ground‑floor house where the owners live, and the upper floor has two rooms with their own bathroom, a shared living‑dining area, and a shared kitchen. In our case, by taking both rooms, we had the whole floor to ourselves, with two terraces. It’s very close to the beach on foot, and it’s one of the cleanest apartments I’ve seen in all of Sri Lanka. The owners were charming, greeted us with freshly squeezed juice, and made sure we were comfortable—definitely a very quiet and super clean spot. Everything I liked.

“Une excellente adresse”

The welcome was very friendly and warm. A small, well‑equipped room on the top floor of the family house. Quiet, close to the beach, the village, and the train station. There’s a kitchen and a living room to share with another room if desired. Air‑conditioning, fan, mosquito net, hot water. Impeccable cleanliness. Excellent value for money.

A beautiful house with the first floor available, where there are two double rooms, then a shared living room, a small kitchen, a terrace… you can cook if you wish.

“Preiswerte, ruhige und super nette Unterkunft,egal ob für lang oder kurz”

I only stayed there for one night, but a longer visit would have been nice. The place sits in a lovely garden and is quiet, yet the beach and town are just a short walk away. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and there's a kitchen with everything we could use. The only complaint is that Google Maps could show the location more accurately.
