“A pleasant, traditional, family-run hotel”
The hotel feels like a classic family-run place, and even though the owners and their daughter don't speak English, they made us feel warmly welcomed. We’re not fluent in French, but that didn’t bother us. The place isn’t modern, yet it has a charming old‑world vibe. The room was a bit cramped, but it was fine for a single night. The highlight was the evening meal: baked local trout cooked to perfection by the owner, who is a skilled chef. The only downside is the small room and the fact that no one speaks English, which could be an issue for guests who don’t know French.
“Hôtel de montagne chaleureux”
The mountain hotel is beautifully decorated, cozy, and comfortable with wood paneling and fireplaces. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The setting is very mountainous and tranquil. The on‑site restaurant was also a plus for us. The room was comfortable but a bit tight for a hotel of this category.
“Joli hotel très bien tenue dans un petit hameau plein de charme.”
The surroundings are very pretty, the place is very quiet and we were lulled by the river’s sound. In the evening we ate on site, it was very good and the table was set with refinement, like a Sunday family meal. The room is a little small.
The dinner was fantastic, the location was excellent, parking was convenient for a motorcycle, and it’s a great spot for day trips.
“Had a lovely two days, would like to have been able to stay longer”
The food was great, breakfast offered a wide selection, and we opted for half‑board dinners featuring truly local cuisine. The meals were beautifully presented in the dining room with stunning views. The only drawback was the small bedroom, though it had everything needed and a fantastic shower with plenty of hot water.
