The staff were very friendly and helpful, the dinner and breakfast were good, and dogs were welcome; however, I asked for a ground‑floor room but none were available, the stairs were steep, curtains needed rehanging, the taps and toilet seat were loose, and furniture was stored in the corridors, so overall the place felt a bit worn and could use some care.

The location was quiet, parking was on site, every staff member was helpful, polite, and welcoming, the food was plentiful, piping hot, and well presented, so I would definitely recommend it and plan to return.

There were many options on the menu, we ate breakfast and dinner, the food was nicely presented and cooked, the staff were all friendly and accommodating, and the bedroom had plenty of tea and coffee plus a small packet of jelly beans, which was a nice touch; the room’s decor was a bit dated, cobwebs were in the window frame, the bathroom sink was cracked, there was a small mould patch, the toilet seat was stained and worn, and a lot of items were stored at the end of the corridor, making the place look untidy.

The location is brilliant and the room was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The evening meal was wonderful and breakfast was very tasty. The staff were friendly and the hotel itself is lovely. The shower could use an update, and the room needed some decorating because the wallpaper is coming off the walls.

The location and staff were great. The bathroom lighting was too dark and there was no dressing table to put makeup on or dry hair.
