Located opposite the train station in Giswil, Hotel Bahnhof offers picturesque views of the surrounding countryside from its simply furnished rooms. The hotel features a restaurant serving seasonal Swiss cuisine, a garden with a barbecue area and tapas bar, and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Great location, right across the street from the train station, yet room maintenance and housekeeping could use improvement; the unit had stains on the carpet and wasn’t as clean as expected, light bulbs were blown and not replaced upon arrival, shades in the upstairs bedroom were missing, and cobwebs covered the patio door lighting; housekeeping could have been much better and they didn’t replace face wash clothes, but items brought to the owner’s attention were mostly rectified the next day.

Good location, perfect for cycling and hiking, food was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the value for money was also good.

Close to the train station and the rooms are large, but the hallway door to adjacent rooms makes it a bit noisy.

Very great, quiet, and strong value for money hotel. Unfortunately we had nothing.
