Hotel INN Rossio, Santa Maria Maior, sits a three‑minute walk from Rossio Square and a five‑minute stroll to the metro. Sound‑proofed rooms feature satellite TV, private balconies, and panoramic views of São Jorge Castle. Wooden floors, air‑conditioning, and optional sofa beds create a cozy retreat. Halal meals, car rentals, tours, currency exchange, and laundry services enhance convenience.

The location is perfect, the staff friendly, and the luggage storage elevator with a luggage scale was a bonus. Lots of hot water, and fruit & water were welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer. Nothing else.

The hotel’s proximity to central spots was a plus, and the place felt clean and cozy with a decent breakfast that offered a variety of fresh fruit, baked goods, and the usual scrambled eggs with beans. Overall, a solid hotel. The downside was that when the windows were open it got extremely loud, even into the early morning, and there were several homeless people on the street and right outside the hotel who were begging and using the nearby supermarket, which is beyond the hotel’s control.

The location was great, right in the heart of Rossio and Chiado, with restaurants and even a shopping center nearby.
