B&B Ibiscus

We had a simply wonderful stay here. I know that when you visit Rome you might want to stay as central as possible, but I would definitely recommend places like Ibiscus B&B, because even though it’s a bit further from the centre, it’s conveniently located, just a 5‑minute walk from the metro station that takes you to all the attractions in 10 minutes, it’s in a quiet neighbourhood, and the place itself is lovely. The host is very friendly and welcoming and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The room is clean and cosy, and there’s a shared kitchen where you can keep snacks you might want for breakfast or after a long day out. There’s also a coffee machine and a teapot, with coffee pods and tea, as well as dishes available. Our room was also cleaned daily, which is not as common as you might think, so that was great. Finally, the self‑check‑in process is very easy and smooth. All in all, 100% recommend this place if you’d rather save a little for shopping and attractions without compromising quality of your stay. “Estilo y comodidad.”

The décor here is unquestionably the best among all the places I visited during my stay in Italy; it shows good taste and a blend of classic and modern styles without being garish, which made our stay enjoyable. The facilities are excellent, and the bed and pillows are unbeatable. It’s a bit far from the center, but the connectivity is great, and the host was very attentive even though we only communicated virtually.

The check‑in instructions were straightforward and hassle‑free. However, the shower drain was clogged, so I had to take the shower in stages to let the water flow, otherwise the bathroom flooded. There was no mirror light, so turning on the night light also turned on the loud fan, which is needed because the bathroom has no windows. We would have liked two extra pillows.

“Bene per chi deve stare in zona”

The spot is convenient because it’s close to the workplace I had to go to. The young person in charge of the facilities is very helpful and ready to fix problems. The fridge and common area are comfortable. The room I ended up in (not the one I originally booked because it was unusable) is spacious and cozy. The room I booked was out of order (informed the day before), so after a night in another place, I was given a different room in the ibiscus with a bathroom that wasn’t in the room (no air conditioning, drainage smells). As a consolation, my city tax was waived.
