“Good value, nice staff and leisure facilities. Breakfast needs to be better.”

The steam room was absolutely class, the pool and jacuzzi lovely too. I was very impressed, and the friendly staff provided complimentary towels. The location is great, only a short walk to the village. I liked the vending machines on the landings that offered drinks and snacks. The staff even left me a small three‑dessert selection for my birthday. Nice hotel and good value. Had great fun with local Clane people. The breakfast ran from 7am to 10.30, we arrived at 9am. The food had been sitting on hot plates for a while, the cooked food was dry and hard, so I didn’t eat it; I had cereal and coffee instead. There was a jackhammer going outside at 9am on Monday, and the windows didn’t keep out much noise. The shower was just about warm but had nice pressure. The wallpaper behind the bed was starting to peel, so a little bit of facilities management was needed in my opinion.

“Short stay”

All good bar breakfast, but I felt the breakfast could be of better quality.

“Enjoyable stay in Westgrove hotel”

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Staff were very friendly and efficient, and the facilities were very good. The breakfasts could do with a little more choice and slightly better quality food.
