The breakfasts were very good, and the two evening meals we had were also excellent.

The staff were friendly and the pub had a good vibe. The food met a good standard. The bed, especially the pillows, were not very comfortable, and breakfast started at 8 a.m., which didn’t fit our travel schedule.

The staff were all kind, helpful and informative, and the pub in the lovely village had plenty of walking trails, but the room, though well appointed, is starting to show wear and tear— the tap leaked and the hot water in the shower was intermittent.

Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful, though the TV in the room was small and old, which wasn't a big deal.
