The property has been lovingly restored, with lots of period features. It’s very quiet and private, and has a wonderful pool

The setting, the surroundings, the accommodation, the space, the silence, the host welcome, the breakfast, the chats with the hosts, the region between Charente and the vineyards—all of these elements make the usual attractions worth a detour. The only issue was the fridge noise in an otherwise silent place.
