Nothing good. 1. Information about a 12 % steep parking on the sidewalk. 2. Very unhygienic because cats roam over dining tables, chairs and beds. 3. A climb of over 15 m to the bedroom. 4. The spiral staircase was narrow with peeling steps (not the staircase shown on the website!). 5. No lighting on the 15 m high staircase (only Christmas lights could be turned on above). 6. The entrance was a construction site, somewhat shielded with an old cabinet.

We were allowed to spend three extraordinary days and nights in the tower room. The furnishings are authentic amid the beautiful medieval atmosphere of the castle. This was never meant to be a wellness holiday, but a fascinating time‑travel back. With unnaturally much love, effort and heart, the Castle Lords created a time capsule. A living museum in a captivating setting. Accompanied by very lovely owners who gladly let you share the history of this castle. We can only give an absolute recommendation for guests who want to experience the extraordinary authentically. Our thanks go to the LeCompte family for a stay we will remember for a long time. A special greeting to the fluffy Amadeus, whom we instantly fell in love with.
