“Etant pèlerin, excellente étape pour poursuivre notre périple.”

The welcome was fantastic! Even when the restaurant was closed, we could still eat thanks to generous charcuterie and cheese platters. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. A great stop!

“Rudimentary accommodation along the Camino, okay for one night”

The bar and its locals have a lot of character, but they don’t serve dinner and seem uninterested in foreign tourists. The rooms on the first floor of the bar, accessed from the outside, feel a bit unsafe, not very private or comfortable. Even though they were the poorest accommodation on our holiday, they weren’t the cheapest. The bar offers a great local atmosphere and plenty of cider, but no dinner food.

The staff were very friendly and the location is great for Camino del Norte. The rooms were very good and spacious. Breakfast and dinner were served in the nearby restaurant.

The room looked out onto a field. It’s close to the road but stays quiet at night. There’s a bar downstairs and a restaurant five minutes away.
